RTW Ride The Wave Srl was founded in 2003 by a group of engineers and researchers with specialized skills in electromagnetics and microwave issues.
RTW was recognized as a spin-off company of the University of Pisa and originally settled in the “Polo Tecnologico” of Navacchio, near Pisa, Italy.
In 2004 RTW was elected to be funded by the Chamber of Commerce of Pisa, in the frame of a program supporting innovative start-up companies.
In 2005 RTW started the collaboration with Pasquali MicroWaveSystems, a long-established Italian company operating in radiofrequency parts manufacturing. Working in sinergy, RTW and Officine Pasquali began to work in partnership developing novel tailor made microwave components for radar systems.
In 2006 RTW joined Gruppo Pasquali and moved to new premises in Pisa.
